Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged harassment incident on Thursday.
An RPD report said at 7:10 a.m. the 62-year-old was contacted in the 500 block of Southeast Woodward Avenue. An investigation revealed that the suspect reportedly kicked a victim’s leg, leaving several red scratch marks. The man was taken into custody and placed in a patrol vehicle. On the way to jail, he allegedly kicked both back doors from inside the car, causing damage. An initial estimate indicated that it would cost nearly $450 to realign the doors.
The man was charged with harassment and second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $8,750. He was released later in the day.
