The Umpqua Velo Club is getting ready for this year’s Vineyard Tour and has made some big changes.

After struggling with the reality of wildfire smoke every Labor Day, the organization is going to try holding the event the first weekend of October. The ride will happen on Sunday October 6th and will be the day after the 3rd annual Blocktober Fest presented by NeighborWorks Umpqua.

Blocktober Fest is a one-day event which includes family friendly entertainment, live music on the main stage, a variety of vendors and community partners, plus local downtown businesses along with food, and regional beer and wine.
