In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Oakland Community Theater presents: Shootout at Sadie’s Saloon, continuing through this weekend.

The production features characters like Sheriff Jake Jones, Prudence Purewater, Dirk Devious, Sadie and Sally O’Flynn, and the Temperance Ladies. The free summer melodrama is on stage in the city park, behind Stearns Hardware. Performances are Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

Those attending should bring a chair, blanket and a jacket. Refreshments like ice cream, hot buttered popcorn and drinks will be available. Admission is free.
