Roseburg Police charged a woman in an identity theft incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said 27-year-old Amity Holben was already lodged in corrections for the theft of a wallet that occurred on May 30th. New evidence obtained Wednesday identified her as a suspect of using a credit card that was inside the stolen wallet. Holben allegedly used the credit card at a store on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard for a purchase totaling over $232.

She was charged with identity theft, computer crime, fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree theft. Holben remained detained on $2,000.
