ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP

Roseburg Police jailed a man following a traffic stop on Sunday night.

An RPD report said at 10:35 p.m. officers contacted the 19-year-old after he was driving his vehicle with no lights on near the intersection of Northwest Stewart Parkway and Northwest Veterans Way.

During their contact, officers learned the man’s driving status was suspended at the misdemeanor level. He was taken into custody and lodged at corrections. The man was charged with driving while suspended. Bail was set at $6,250. He was also cited for driving uninsured and for operation without required lighting.
