Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged prior theft on Friday.

An RPD report said the 27-year-old was identified as the suspect who allegedly stole a wallet from inside a business in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street. She was contacted at 1:50 p.m. and admitted to taking the wallet and giving it to a friend.

She was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
