A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 3:30 p.m. the driver of a motorcycle was westbound on Eagle Valley Road when his bike struck the side of a pickup that was pulling off the off ramp of Interstate Five at the Yoncalla/Drain exit.

The rider was transported to Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield. Both the motorcycle and pickup were towed from the scene.
