The Fir Grove Park Splash Pad is now open, offering a cool oasis where residents can escape the heat this summer.

A City of Roseburg release said the splash pad is a free seasonal offering open daily each summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to dusk. The splash pad is located just off West Harvard Avenue behind the Umpqua Valley Arts Center.

Shade is limited so Parks and Recreation staff encourages residents to be prepared with sunscreen, hats and sunglasses.
