Roseburg Police charged a man Thursday for alleged prior theft incidents.

An RPD report said the 61-year-old was observed on surveillance footage allegedly stealing numerous items from a store in the 3300 block of Northwest Aviation Drive on three separate days in April and May. The total loss was just over $1,245.

The man was already in jail on unrelated charges. A new count of first-degree theft was added. He remained detained without bail.
