The 85th annual Douglas County Lamb Show and Barbecue is happening this Saturday, June 1st at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

The events are a cooperative effort of the fairgrounds, 4-H and FFA and the Douglas County Livestock Association.

Activities take place all day starting at 8:00 a.m. The lamb barbecue will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A large plate is $10 with a child’s plate for those ages 12 and under,  $7.

The 4H/FFA lamb auction begins at 7:00 p.m. in the auction arena. Buyer numbers will be issued from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
