A Winston woman was jailed on a methamphetamine charge by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday.

A DCSO report said at 6:45 a.m. the 37-year-old was allegedly causing a disturbance at a business in 200 block of Pruner Road in Myrtle Creek. While speaking with the suspect, deputies reportedly saw drug paraphernalia in plain view in her vehicle and in her open backpack, as well as 16 grams of meth.

The woman was charged with unlawful possession of meth. She was detained without bail and was released on Sunday.
