Roseburg Police jailed a man on a drug charge early Thursday morning.
An RPD report said, at 1:30 a.m. the 44-year-old was stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of Southeast Stephens Street. During the investigation, drug paraphernalia could be reportedly seen in one of his pants pockets. The suspect admitted to having methamphetamine on his person. Officers ultimately seized 8.8 grams of crystal meth.
The man was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $6,250. He was released later in the morning.
