An Azalea man was jailed for a reported theft incident on Sunday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:45 p.m. the 33-year-old allegedly entered a store in the 100 block of Ranchero Road in Glendale and stole a six-pack of beer. A deputy arrived on scene and reviewed surveillance footage showing the man stealing the beer.

Deputies located the suspect, and he was taken into custody. The man was charged with third-degree theft. Other charges from an Oregon State Police case were added. Bail was set at $20,500.
