Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said just before 9:15 a.m. officers arrested the 48-year old after he allegedly stole a six pack of beer from a store in the 2100 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. He was also detained for violating his parole. The man was charged with third-degree theft and for parole violation. Bail was set at $1,250.
