Roseburg Police jailed a man Saturday for a littering incident.

An RPD report said at 1:00 p.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old who was lying in a pile of trash underneath the Interstate Five bridge at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street.

Officers contacted the man in the same location a week earlier and the police report said the amount of trash had only gotten worse. He was charged with depositing trash within 100 yards of waters. Bail was set at $2,500.
