Roseburg Police jailed a man on a trespass and a drug charge on Friday.
An RPD report said at 8:30 a.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old at his camp on railroad property in the 2800 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The suspect had been warned and cited numerous times for trespassing at this location, but he has continued to do so.
The man was detained without issue and taken to corrections. At the jail, officers reportedly found 2.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine while gathering the suspect’s belongings. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of meth. He was detained without bail.
