The Roseburg School Board will have a special meeting Monday night to interview candidates for a vacant seat.
Rev. Howard Johnson resigned in April after nine years on the board. His resignation was formally accepted on May 8th. Rev. Johnson passed away last week.
Former board member Dr. Brandon Bishop along with Rachelle Mills and Keith Cubic have applied for the seat. Cubic is currently on the district’s budget committee.
The board will interview the applicants and select one of them to fill the position through June 30th, 2025
The meeting will be held in the district board room at Central Office on Northwest Valley View Drive at 6:00 p.m.
A regular board meeting is set for Wednesday night at Green Elementary School. The new board member will be sworn-in at that time.
