A Riddle man was charged Wednesday by Roseburg Police for an alleged prior theft incident.

An RPD report said a 37-year-old was developed as a suspect in a trailer theft from the United Community Action Network on April 12th. The suspect was contacted at 5:45 p.m. and interviewed while he was in jail on an unrelated incident. The man admitted to the theft and was charged with the new crimes.

He was charged with first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle. The man remained detained without bail.
