Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged trespass incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said just before 11:30 p.m. officers contacted a 40-year-old in the basement of a vacant residence in the 300 block of Southeast Ella Street. Officers contacted the owner of the property who wished to pursue charges. His parole officer issued a detainer.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and for a parole violation. He was detained on $1,250 bail.
