Roseburg Police responded to the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard just before 4:40 p.m. on Sunday after a report came in that there had been a vehicle versus bicycle accident.

During the investigation, it was discovered that a 72-year-old man had lost control of his electric bicycle and crashed on the sidewalk. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported the man to CHI Mercy Medical Center.
