Roseburg Police jailed a man twice on Tuesday afternoon.
An RPD report said on February 17th, the 36-year-old entered a store in the 4100 block of Northeast Stephens Street, concealed an item, and attempted to return it for cash. The man was denied the transaction then left the business with the allegedly stolen items. He was contacted at 1:30 p.m., charged with third-degree theft and taken into custody.
At 3:40 p.m. the man was contacted at the intersection of Northeast Lincoln Street and Northeast Freemont Avenue. He was found to have warrants for his arrest. The man was detained on $8,750 bail.
