Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged trespass incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 6:45 p.m. an officer responded to the 700 block of Southeast Fisher Drive regarding a suspicious male. Upon arrival, officers contacted a 20-year-old who was known to them, running from the side of the residence. Officers learned the man had entered the victim’s garage without knowing him or having permission.

The suspect was charged with second-degree criminal mischief. He was detained on $1,000 bail.
