Roseburg Police cited a man for a littering incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 4:15 p.m. the 53-year-old was contacted after officers saw that he was lying in a pile of trash on the Duck Pond bike path in the 1500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man told officers that he had been cleaning up but around him was approximately a 15-foot by 10-foot area of trash, clothes and bicycle parts, which was well with 100 yards from the pond.

The man was cited and released for depositing trash within 100 yards of waters or in waters. He was instructed to clean up the camp.
