Winston Police jailed two men after alleged theft incidents early Sunday.
A WPD report said at about 1:15 a.m. officers were dispatched to the area of the 300 block of Southeast Sunnyside Drive. Witnesses reported observing the suspects stealing from vehicles in their driveway on their Ring camera. Officers located the men nearby and interviewed them. One of the men fled on foot. Officers arrested 18-year-old Kyle Wright, who admitted to the thefts. 19-year-old Zachariah Wills was located later in the 100 block of Cobb Street in Dillard and arrested regarding the thefts. He also had a felony warrant for his arrest out of the Oregon Youth Authority.
Both men were charged with two counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, possession of burglar tools, and 2nd degree counts of criminal mischief and theft and for carrying a concealed weapon. Wills was also held for the warrant. Willis was jailed on $31,250 bail while Wright was held on $31,500 bail.
