A Grants Pass woman was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle wreck early Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:30 a.m. units responded to the accident in the 2800 block of Bilger Creek Road near Glendale.  Upon arrival they found the 44-year-old driver in her vehicle. She was conscious and breathing but not responsive. Deputies assisted medical personnel in getting the woman out of the vehicle.

The driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for unknown injuries. The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but it appears she potentially had a medical issue which caused her to drive off the road.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
