Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant following a disturbance on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 12:00 p.m. officers contacted the 44-year-old following a disturbance at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Stewart Park Drive. The man was known to have a warrant for his arrest during the contact. He was arrested on the warrant and found to be out of compliance with his sex offender registration for not registering on an annual basis and for not updating his address.

He was booked for the warrant and for a first-degree count of failure to report as a sex offender. The man was detained without bail.
