An inspection delay has slowed the move of the Umpqua National Forest Service staff relocating to the new Roseburg Interagency Office at 777 Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.

A UNF post said this delay does not impact services to the public. The front lobby of the new building is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The UNF phone number is now 541-440-4930.

In this new facility the Umpqua National Forest Supervisor’s Office will operate alongside federal agencies Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association.

UNF will provide an update once a timeframe for staff moving into the new building is determined.
