A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police following a DUII incident early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 2:20 a.m. officers saw 41-year-old Robert Wilkerson leave the parking lot of an establishment in the 900 block of Southeast Stephens Street. An officer got behind his vehicle and saw it swerve within his lane of travel and on several occasions drove over the yellow striped line.

When Wilkerson was stopped the officer allegedly saw signs of the driver’s impairment. The driver agreed to standard field sobriety tests which he allegedly performed poorly. The officer arrested Wilkerson for driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

He was released after being cited. His vehicle was impounded.
