ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR USING HIS CELLPHONE WHILE DRIVING

Roseburg Police cited a man for using his cellphone while driving on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said shortly before 2:00 p.m. officers stopped the 54-year-old from Oakland in the 800 block of Southeast Stephens Street. During the stop it was determined that the man’s driver license was criminally suspended. He was charged with driving while suspended-misdemeanor, driving uninsured, and for operating a vehicle while using a mobile device.

A valid driver picked up the vehicle.
