Roseburg Police cited a man for misuse of 911 on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 11:30 a.m. the 23-year-old called 911 and hung up on dispatchers. Officers found the man at his apartment in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens Street, and he admitted to calling 911. The suspect claimed he called 911 at a prank.

He was released after being cited.
