ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR DUII, IMPROPER TURN

Roseburg Police cited a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 10:20 p.m. officers witnessed the 26-year-old commit traffic violations after leaving the parking lot of a business near the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Mosher Avenue. Officers stopped the man and allegedly saw signs of impairment. He agreed to standard field sobriety tests, which he reportedly performed poorly. The man was transported to corrections where he was cited and released for DUII and for making an improper turn. His vehicle was driven from the scene by a friend.
