ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR ALLEGEDLY PROVIDING FALSE IDENTITY

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for allegedly providing false identity during a traffic stop Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 11:15 p.m. the 33-year-old was stopped near the intersection of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Waite Avenue. She later reportedly told the officer that she knew there was a warrant for her arrest and did not want to go to jail.

The warrant was confirmed, and she was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $5,000. The woman was released on Friday.
