The warmest multi-day period in five months starts Friday in the Umpqua Valley.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service expect the mercury to reach 70 degrees or above every day from Friday through at least Monday. The last time Roseburg had multiple days in the 70’s was October 17th through 19th of last year.

Tuesday the high should be at or near 70 before dropping back to the 60s on Wednesday and into the 50s starting Thursday with a good chance of showers every day for about a week.
