In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The annual state convention of the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers Association is scheduled for April 4th through 6th at the Winston Assembly of God Church on Southeast Darrell Avenue.

Several hundred musicians and fans are expected from throughout the region.

Educational and fun workshops will be offered all three days from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will also be a Thursday evening Band Scramble and a Friday Dance, both from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday a Youth & Fiddle Contest Showcase will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A food truck will be on-site all three days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
