On Tuesday, Oregon Right to Life announced their endorsement of Oregon Army National Guard veteran Alek Skarlatos for the Republican nomination for Oregon House District 4.

Skarlatos said, “I have always stood for the right to life, and I am honored to be endorsed by Oregon Right to Life PAC once again”. Skarlatos said, “I will serve as a pro-life legislator and be a voice for those who do not have a voice of their own”.

ORTL Executive Director Lois Anderson said, “Skarlatos is an American hero and a strong pro-life advocate whose commitment to the most vulnerable has been clearly demonstrated”.  Anderson said, “We are proud to endorse Alek Skarlatos for the Oregon House”.

House District 4 is made up of communities in south Douglas, Josephine, and Jackson counties. The seat is currently held by Representative Christine Goodwin. Goodwin is seeking the Senate District 2 seat currently held by Art Robinson, who has not filed for re-election.
