WINTER STORM WARNING THROUGH 4:00 P.M. TUESDAY

March 5, 2024 10:30 a.m. 

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday above 1,500 feet in central Douglas County and its eastern foothills.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said wet snow is expected with additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches.

This includes the passes on Interstate 5, the Tiller-Trail Highway and portions of Highway 138 east of Steamboat.

Travel is strongly discouraged due to dangerous conditions. Those who must travel should keep tire chains, a flashlight, blankets, food, water, medications and a fully charged phone with them.
