A Roseburg man was jailed on 8 charges by Roseburg Police Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 8:20 a.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue after a caller said there had been a theft from a vehicle. 29-year-old Nicholas Artherholt was located and taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with three counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, first, second and third-degree counts of theft, identity theft and for a parole violation. Artherholt was detained without bail.
