Roseburg Police jailed a man on drug charges and for a warrant early Monday.
An RPD report said at approximately 1:10 a.m. officers contacted 32-year-old Cody Guritz-Ogrinc near 1400 Northwest Stewart Park Drive regarding a warrant that was out for his arrest. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody. Guritz-Ogrinc advised officers that he was in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl, which was located on his person.
He was taken into custody. Officers later discovered that Guritz-Ogrinc had a criminal amount of both drugs. He was charged with unlawful possession of meth and a Schedule II controlled substance and for the warrant and was detained without bail.
