ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED MENACING INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported menacing incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at approximately 2:45 p.m. officers responded to the 2400 block of West Harvard Avenue after a caller said that 30-year-old Christopher Kelsey had pulled a knife out of his pocket and held it up to a victim’s face during an argument. By the time that officers arrived, Kelsey had left the area.

He was located a short time later at his camp on General Avenue. Kelsey was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with menacing, unlawful use of a weapon and parole violation. Kelsey was detained without bail.
