An Oakland woman was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on Sunday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said shortly after 9:00 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Fort McKay Road and Crouch Road west of Oakland.

The 26-year-old driver said she was driving too fast and over corrected. The sedan rolled and landed on a fence. The woman was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a possible broken leg and other injuries.  She was cited for not having an operator’s license. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
