A contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation is continuing the Exit 125 off-ramp project at Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.
ODOT’s construction report said the work is designed to improve safety and ease congestion at Exit 125 by adding a dedicated right-turn lane to the northbound off-ramp. The project will also replace the traffic signal poles and hardware, install new push-button pedestrian beacons, upgrade sidewalks and ADA curb ramps and repave the off-ramp and intersection. All work is scheduled to be completed in June.
Construction is scheduled from 8:00 p.m.to 6:00 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings. Motorists should watch for nighttime lane and shoulder closures on the northbound freeway off-ramp, Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Mulholland Drive.
