Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported assault incident on Thursday evening.

An RPD report said at 6:00 p.m. 48-year-old Mark Bennett was contacted in the 600 block of Southeast Jackson Street for allegedly assaulting and physically harassing the victims during the incident in their home. The victims reportedly received injuries as a result of the physical disturbance.

Bennett was charged with 4th-degree assault, harassment and a parole violation. He was jailed on $8,750 bail.
