Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just before 5:40 p.m. officers responded to the 2900 block of Northeast Dorwin Avenue after a 38-year-old allegedly broke into a victim’s bedroom because she took a Roku TV device.  When the man got into the room, he reportedly got on top of the victim and bit her finger.  The victim then allegedly punched the man in the face to get him away from her because she feared for her life.

The man admitted to biting the victim and was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with menacing and harassment. Bail was set at $6,250.
