SPRING INTO GARDENING EVENT IS MARCH 9TH

Registration is open for the “Spring into Gardening” educational course which will be held on Saturday, March 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Phoenix School of Roseburg on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.

Organized by the OSU Extension Service Douglas County Master Gardeners, the workshop provides home gardeners with information on sustainable garden topics.

Participants can select which individual classes they want to attend. The first session begins at 9:00 a.m. with OSU Extension Small Farms Program Coordinator, Logan Bennett, explaining about garden soil. Three additional sessions each offer a choice of four topics.

A break for lunch is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Attendees should bring their own lunch and snacks. Water, coffee and hot water for tea will be provided.
