A Roseburg woman was jailed by Roseburg Police Monday morning after reportedly entering someone else’s vehicle.
An RPD report said at 6:30 a.m. a victim called to say that the suspect had entered her unlocked pickup in the 2000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue and rifled through her belongings. Officers located the woman nearby and found a small coin purse next to her. The victim confirmed that the item had been stolen from the vehicle.
The suspect was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and for third-degree theft. Bail was set at $7,500.
