Roseburg tied the record high for the date on Tuesday.

Data from the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 64 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That equaled the record high for January 30th, which was set in 2003.

After warm overnight temperatures, the Umpqua Valley is expected to gradually cool Wednesday as the day goes on with afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Rain and gusty winds are expected. Highs should be between 50 and 55 degrees for the remainder of the week with a mix of showers and rain through Friday.
