ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL AFTER AFTER INCIDENT ON BUSY STREET

Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged incident on a busy street on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at approximately 9:10 a.m. officers responded to the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue after callers said a man was walking into traffic and throwing rocks at vehicles. The 25-year old was contacted regarding the incident. During a conversation with an officer regarding the matter, the suspect reportedly charged at the officer. The man was placed into handcuffs and identified.

He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $6,250.
