ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR UNLAWFUL USE OF A VEHICLE

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for unlawful use of a vehicle and other charges early Friday.

An RPD report said at 6:40 a.m. officers contacted 35-year old Jessica Thompson as the driver of a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Pine Street. Thompson was detained without issue and allegedly showed signs of impairment on the scene. She was taken into custody. Thompson was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended-misdemeanor. She was detained without bail.
