Roseburg Police jailed two people on littering charges on Wednesday.

An RPD report said 11:25 p.m. the 57-year old man and 34-year old woman were contacted under the Fowler Street Bridge in the 200 block of Southeast Fowler Street due to smoke coming from the location. Their camp had trash and debris covering an area of thirty feet by twenty feet.

Both were charged with depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway. They were also cited for prohibited camping. Bail was set at $2,500 for each of them.
