A Riddle man was charged by Roseburg Police Tuesday for an alleged past theft incident.

An RPD report said at 10:30 a.m. the 37-year old was contacted regarding a cargo trailer he allegedly stole, which contained over $1,000 worth of property. The owner had since recovered the trailer and property.

The suspect was already at corrections on another case. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for first-degree theft. The man remained detained without bail.
